From the perspective of industrial development, a batch of complex and highly technical fully automatic packaging equipment played an important role in the industry. A number of high-level, innovative flagship products not only meet domestic market demand but also participate in international market competition, selling well both at home and abroad. The development and application of these research achievements have comprehensively improved the overall technical level of China's packaging machinery industry and greatly shortened the gap with developed countries. Taking the path of technological innovation is a major strategic choice for the development of China's packaging machinery technology. In recent years, China's packaging machinery industry has basically formed a technology innovation model centered on large and medium-sized backbone enterprises, supported by research institutions and universities, integrating production, education, and research. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the country proposed an innovation development model, improved the degree of standardization, and provided technical support to promote industrial upgrading. Adjust and optimize product structure. Transform the mode of economic growth and enhance independent innovation capabilities. From quantitative growth to quality and efficiency improvement, from following and imitating to independent innovation, from single technology breakthroughs to technology integration. The packaging machinery industry also actively promotes original innovation, integrated innovation, introduction, digestion, absorption, and re-innovation of packaging machinery, driving the development of products with independent intellectual property rights. Therefore, it is necessary to streamline scientific research and design procedures, formulate a new round of scientific research and design standards, enhance independent design capabilities, and strive to improve the level of scientific research and design.
